Ducati Superbike description
2003 Ducati 999 made to look like an 1098. Machine has 7xxx heading to 8000 as I still ride the bike. The only parts that are from the 999 is the fame, radiator, engine and gauges everything else is from the 1098
Bad: *Right side fork seal is starting to weep *The title is signed over to me be the original seller but not registered I have no intentions of registering the thing long story short I'd have to pay my CT property tax to do so and I'm no where near ready to do that. So please understand you wont be able to register unless you have some magic ink eraser. * It has Chinese fairing and they are starting to crack in some places Besides the above that's pretty much It Please do not waste your time or mine cash in person only. |

Audi Paid 747 Million Euros for Ducati
Wed, 01 Aug 2012Audi has confirmed it paid 747 million euros (US$919.1 million) for Ducati, a much lower price than initially reported at the time of the sale. The official purchase price was announced in Audi’s interim financial report for the first half of 2012. The 747 million euro price tag for Ducati is close to the 750 million euro figure reportedly tabled by Audi in late March.
£4 part (almost) stops play
Wed, 11 May 2011When I dropped off my trashed 848 to George White, along with a box of parts, I didn't realise how much work would be involved in preparing the bike for the 848 Challenge. If I did, I probably wouldn't have had the front to show up, point to a date on the calendar two weeks ahead, make everyone a cup of tea and then clear off. Truth be told, it's taken a huge effort to get the bike to a place where it's got everything it needs to go racing and I wouldn't be heading to Assen without the effort of Paul Sands (Sandzee) and Mike Collis at George White who worked all sorts of hours to get it sorted.
