Ducati Superbike description

Hi,

Up for sale is my 2002 Ducati 998. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL OEM FAIRINGS!! I put them away to protect them from getting chipped or any other damage. This bike has never been tracked or stunted (I don't know how to do either) and is in excellent condition. I have several Ducati motorcycles and ride this one once or twice a week, so mileage will go up slowly.

This bike has....

Remus Titanium Half Pipes
Ohlins Rear Suspension
Everything else is pretty much stock
Spare set of FILA fairings (side and front fairings pictured, others boxed up)

The bike runs just as it should. Tires are in great shape, recently flushed and replaced the fluids, and new oil this season. No leaks or any other funny business, it runs just like a new one. Feel free to message me with absolutely any questions you may have.

NO TRADES. Pickup only. Title in hand.

Track days, I love em!

Fri, 29 Jul 2011

I never tire of track days. Well I wouldn’t as I’m out most weeks earning a crust instructing on them, however, there is usually an amusing story at the end of each event. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.

Ducati announced the start of a new wholly-owned subsidiary for the Brazilian market after its former importing partner, the Izzo Group, ceased operations. The Izzo Group shut itself down earlier this month following a slow decline. At one point, the Izzo Group was one of Brazil’s largest motorcycle importers, with a list of manufacturers including Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, Triumph and Zero.

Rossi to Ducati: The affair begins

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

WE'VE STUMBLED across a series of videos posted on YouTube which follow the behind-the-scenes action of Valentino Rossi taking his first spin aboard Ducati's 2011 MotoGP racer. Filmed by an insider and posted on 'Tube by those lovely chaps at 'Assphalt and Rubber', the series of six videos follows the nine-time World Champion, as he's introduced to the 2011 machine for the first time. Rossi ended the two-day session at Valencia in 15th place on the timesheets.
