Ducati Sport Touring description

Comes with Helibars and a touring windscreen. Autocom and Sirius satellite radio installed. Oil & filter changed this month. The last valve adjustment was at 12k including new timing belts. Needs a new front tire. Never down. I bought the bike in January 2006 from Javelina HD in Bourne, TX with 250 miles on it, the rest of 19k are all mine. The underside of one muffler has curb rash from parking, other than that the bike is in good condition. I've done most of the servicing myself, can throw in a few extra oil filters and plug/screen washers if you are similarly inclined. I have two sets of keys, including two for each pannier but no "red key".

Will not ship. I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally.

2011 Ducati Mega Monster Leaked Sketch

Fri, 16 Jul 2010

This leaked sketch was found on a Ducati forum where the forum member claims he received it from the dealer that sold him his Streetfighter.  Motorcycle.com published an article last week that shows some spy shots of the new cruiser on the road along with some other information on the potential new bike from Ducati. See the official statement from Ducati after the jump. Statement from Ducati: As many you may have noticed, there has been quite a bit of activity in the past few weeks surrounding a supposed new Ducati model.

EICMA 2012: New Ducati Hyperstrada a Cross between Hypermotard and Multistrada

Mon, 12 Nov 2012

Over the last several months, Ducati fans have been pouring over a number of spy photos and debating whether the new model pictured was a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The answer, it turns out, is a bit of both, with Ducati revealing the new Hyperstrada at the 2012 EICMA Show alongside a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Like the new Hypermotard, the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is equipped with an 821cc version of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11-degree engine.

Nuggets from Estoril

Tue, 03 May 2011

HRC Executive Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Ducati General Director Filippo Preziosi attracted some major media attention as they enjoyed a lengthy but very public chat in the Estoril paddock. Some speculated they were chewing the fat over Stoner’s brilliance now that even Rossi is struggling to get close to the podium on the D800cc Ducati. Others had no doubt it was the rule change for Moto GP machines moving to 1000cc in 2012 that was being debated.
