Ducati Sport Touring description

2006 SC1000 Monoposto presented in a gorgeous YELLOW color. This motorcycle is a head turner anywhere you go, gets a lot of attention and compliments. NEVER DROPPED, DAMAGED or MISTREATED.
As far as modifications the bike is in all original condition with exception of few upgrades:
- SHOWA ADJUSTABLE FRONT FORKS (makes a HUGE difference in handling)
- RK GXW 525 GOLD CHAIN
- MODIFIED ORIGINAL CLUTCH COVER (chrome platted polished)
- CLUTCH SPRINGS
- RETAINERS
- HAND GRIPS
- The tires are original, wear is even and tread has more life left.
- The paint looks good and shines
- The upgraded tank mounting brackets were installed and the tank seats are very tight.
- The battery is still good and always on a trickle charge.
- The rim paint is good and the spokes are clean.
- The wheels look good even from a close distance.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Ducati to Defend Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Crown [Video]

Ducati North America announced it will return to Colorado to defend its title in the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Ducati riders have won the two previous years in the 1205cc motorcycle class with the Multistrada 1200, and the winning riders will be back with Ducati for 2012. Carlin Dunne, the 2011 1205cc class winner and the Hill Climb’s motorcycle class record holder will be joined by 2010 class winner and six-time overall Pikes Peak winner Greg Tracy to ride Ducati Multistrada 1200s prepped by the Spider Grips team for the July 8 event.
