The Sport1000 took its inspiration from the 1973 Ducati 750 Sport and related 750 Imola Desmo, and had the look of a classic lightweight single-seat cafe racer. This 2006 was the first production year.
This bike was purchased as a collectible vehicle and only has 706 original miles on it. Adult driven and always garaged. Started on a regular basis even when not ridden. Thu, 26 Jul 2012It was meant to be an Italian dream reminiscent of the era when Giacomo Agostini dominated Grand Prix with MV Agusta, but ever since Valentino Rossi joined Ducati he has dwindled into a mid-pack runner. There have been glimmers of hope, a Ducati-best for Rossi in the rain at Le Mans and a good showing in the last round at Mugello. Clearly his best dry weather performance, finishing 11 seconds behind the race winner and within eye-shot of the podium.

Wed, 22 Jun 2011The nerves are rising as I sit upon a factory Ducati on the grid at the final round of the WSB championship lined-up against the best riders in the World, the lights are about go out to decide winner… The reality however, is I've been working on my arse groove in the couch, in a darkened room with the remnants of last nights takeaway playing on SBK 2011. SBK 2011 is the next extension in the bike racing game series. The two major modes in the game are the standard career and the SBK Tour.

Wed, 30 May 2012Ducati has opened a new boutique restaurant lounge bar in Dubai, joining existing franchises in Rome, Shanghai and Bangkok. Like other Ducati Caffè franchises, the Dubai location offers Italian-style food and, of course, coffee, as well as Ducati merchandise. The lounge inhabits a two-floor, 4,400 square-foot unit in the Dubai mall.
