Ducati Paso description

Relisted due to a non-paying buyer. Please do not bid if you can not make immediate payment or adhere to the terms of auction set forth below.

This is a very nice example of a rare blue 1988 Ducati Paso 750.
It was previously owned by an ex Automotive and Aerospace Engineer who was meticulous and put in a lot of time to Engineer and fix the original fuel, air and electronic problems that were inherent on this bike. He upgraded the starter, fuel system, rebuilt the carbs, fixed wiring, redesigned fuel pump and air flow needed to fix these issues. She starts great, runs great and is a real head turner. She has a new battery included in sale.  The blue color is very rare and less than 50 were made Worldwide and shipped to the U.S.
A lot of  time and effort was expended to make her run better than original.

It is apparent that the bike was repainted on the tank and right side mirror. The paint on the rest of the bike is very nice. There are a few nicks in the paint here and there, but overall it is a very pretty bike. The original Silentium mufflers are very nice indeed. The tachometer is not currently registering RPM.

If you have any questions, please ask. If you want to look at and test the bike, I am just outside of Berkeley. If you bid on the bike and win, it is not a point to begin negotiations or to commence inspections. The bike will be yours, and I will expect full payment before turning over the keys. A $500 non-refundable fee will be due immediately upon end of auction, with full balance due 7 days after auctions end. I will assist in shipping, but expect for you to arrange the carrier. Local pickup is always easiest.

This is a No Reserve auction. I also have the bike listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason.

The Final Front Tire: Which is Better for Your ADV Bike? 19 or 17-inch?

Thu, 10 Nov 2022

Ducati Multistrada V4S vs. Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak It all began when our old friend Ken Vreeke returned from a six-day ride in Spain, name-dropping and in love with the BMW S1000XR he’d ridden there. Actually, he rented a GS1250, but also got some time on the XR: Problem is with the ADV bikes, Vreeke complains, even with good tires you run off the edges long before you get any real lean angle.
