Ducati Other description

This auction was accidently ended. Had many requests for a buy it now price and while attempting to add this option, it was canceled. Buy it now price is now available...

This auction is for a 2009 Ducati Sport Classic Sport 1000S.  I purchased it new in 2010 from Ducati Forza in Pompano Beach Florida.  The bike is in like new condition.  It has been garage kept since day one and never been in the rain.  The only modification to the bike are the Termignoni exhausts, which dramatically enhances the performance and sound of the bike.  I have both keys and manual.  I also have a tank and rear fender soft cases that I will include with this sale.   Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

On Sep-01-13 at 06:28:29 PDT, seller added the following information:

To all who are wondering about the “buy it now” option, Ebay removes it once the reserve is met.

I am still receiving a lot of requests from people wanting to buy it now.  I will end the auction once it goes north of $15,000.

Thanks for all the interest.

Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.

Casey Stoner's trick kart

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

The other day Casey Stoner tweeted this shot of this factory looking kart, which the reigning champion has been customising during the MotoGP downtime between Qatar and Jerez. Stoner became hooked on karting after taking part in the ice-race at the Ducati/Ferrari Vrooom event in 2009, beating F1 driver Felipe Massa in the process. Not only a hobby, Casey uses karting for training, as the Australian says there are physical benefits as well as to his reflexes.

None of the gear, no idea?

You know when you see the remains of a bike that's been in a big frontal impact and you think: 'My god, what kind of force was needed to rip the airbox out!?'. Well this is one of those crashes, caught on camera. I've seen a lot of crash videos, let's face it, we all have, but I've never seen anything like this.
