The challenge of building a muscular silhouette over a pure-bred competition motor had to be met with determination and a delicate touch, and the result is a frontal area that looks like a power athlete on the starting blocks, explains the team at Ducati Design responsible for the project. With the front wheel kept close to the Diavel s body and using the short tail of a sport bike, we were able to blend this muscular design with a chassis that matched.

Named the Anima Hero, this concept looks as if the block of aluminium is morphing to form a space-age bike suited to the metropolis highways of the distant future. The piece sums up the Rizoma values of Innovation, Technology, Style and Exclusivity and was a culmination of 45 days of continuously precise machining conveying what the company says is a "purity of clean-cut edges and crisp contours, which give a sense of lightness..."

Thu, 10 Mar 2022Fast Facts Lightweight carbon wheels STM-EVO SBK dry clutch Matte Black Winter Test livery MSRP $39,500 Ducati's "Ultimate Racetrack Machine" As we had previously reported last month, Ducati is introducing a new Panigale V4 SP2, a numbered series production model it bills as “The Ultimate Racetrack Machine.” Internationally, the SP2 is a 2022 model, but for North America, it will arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter as a 2023 model. A follow up to 2021’s SP model, the SP2 takes all the updates the Panigale V4 and V4 S received for 2022, and adds a number of upgrades to make it worthy of the “Sport Production” label and $39,500 price tag. These upgrades include carbon wheels, Brembo Stylema R calipers, MCS radial master cylinder, STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, lightened 520 chain, billet Rizoma footpegs and a matt black Winter Test livery.

The custom bikes that have been built on this base are few and far between.Moto Corse, an Italian / Japanese company specialize in special parts for the most famous italian motorcycle brand, and they created a new performance version of the Ducati's maxi naked, called "Diavel DVC". This bike shows all the special parts that Moto Corse has prepared for the Diavel, also painted in a particularly elegant white livery.
