Ducati Monster is Kids Play

My parents never indulged my fascination and passion for motorcycles as a kid, hoping it was merely a passing phase that I would grow out of like wetting the bed. Well nearly 30 years later, I no longer sleep on plastic sheets, but I am just as crazy about motorcycles as ever. A real Monster of a bike

The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes Racing Debut

The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale made its worldwide racing debut this past weekend, winning a race in Spain and scoring a pole position and a pair of podium finishes in South Africa. Ducati‘s latest sportbike isn’t due to make its international racing debut until the Superstock 1000 Cup race, April 1 at Italy’s Imola circuit, but the 1199 has already found success in domestic racing. Ismael Bonilla (pictured above) of EMS Competicion scored the Panigale’s first win in the opening race of the Castellano-Manchego Championship in Spain at the Albacete circuit last weekend.
