2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S, Incredible performance along with DES,DTC,DQS,EBC - Supreme performance, superlative technology, magnetic personality, enthralling design: on track or on road, there’s nothing to beat the 1199 Panigale. The 1199 Panigale S is equipped with Öhlins suspension, both on the front and on the rear that features the innovative Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES). Also made by Öhlins is the adjustable steering damper. In addition, the model rolls on super lightweight forged and machined Marchesini wheels, a carbon fiber front mudguard, full LED headlights and an Aero Kit, which consists of an additional wider fairing top-section. The 1199 Panigale S is also equipped with DTC, DQS, EBC and Power Mode combined into the Ducati Riding Modes. This model is available in standard configuration with optional ABS (country specific). Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
