Ducati Other description

2010 Ducati Streetfighter S 1099

This bike is brand new with only 89 miles on it!  Yes, 89 miles!  It was ridden twice in 3 years.  Only the “S” model has factory installed Ohlin suspension.  Traction control, which you will use!  A lot!!!  I’m the original owner and have clear title in hand.  From what I was told from the dealer, it’s one of the first to hit the east coast.  It has always been in a heated garage or my game room on display.  It’s an amazing bike, but is not for the faint hearted.  This bike has unbelievable power all through the gears.  I’ve installed sliders and some Ducati carbon fiber after the last time I rode it.  This is as close to new as you'll get.

Power: 155hp, Torque: 85lb-ft, Dry Weight: 368lbs

The only way to test drive is with cash in my hand.

Winning bidder has 24 hours to contact me after bidding closes.  Bike is to be paid in full within 72 hours after bidding is closed.  I will assist with loading.  Please email me with any questions pertaining to the bike.

I reserve my right as owner to cancel this auction at any time.

Watch the Entire World Ducati Week 2012 Diavel Drag Race – Video

Mon, 30 Jul 2012

Last month, we wrote about the Diavel Drag Race at World Ducati Week 2012 starring Ducati’s current MotoGP and World Superbike racers and the one and only Troy Bayliss. If you missed it, the retired three-time WSBK Champion Bayliss defeated nine-time Grand Prix Champion Valentino Rossi in the drag race competition on Ducati Diavel Carbons. Our initial post featured a video of highlights from the drag race competition shot by Italian website Motociclismo.it but it was filmed by a single camera from an awkward vantage point.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

WSBK: 2012 Monza Results

Mon, 07 May 2012

It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
