Selling my 2010 Ducati Streetfighter S 1098...only 7,993 pampered miles.  Never raced, never abused...all maintenance up to date.  Replaced timing belts last year...fresh fluids, needs nothing, ready to ride!!!  Tons of upgrades including, Full Racing Carbon Fiber Termignoni exhaust, ECU upgrade, open dry clutch, HID headlights, real carbon fiber parts all around...tastefully modified!!  All OEM parts included...minus exhaust, sold it years ago.  Have all keys, books, papers, passenger seat, and code card.  Title in hand.  Any questions, feel free to contact me.  Have it for sale locally, more than welcome to see in person.  Absolutely NO test rides.  Local pick-up only!  Thanks for looking.

Ducati 1199 Panigale Superquadro Engine to Power Volkswagen XL1 Sport

Ever since Audi acquired Ducati, we’ve been anticipating the first cross-brand technological developments between the Italian motorcycle maker and the German automaker. Sure, there have been some cross-promotional tie-ins, but we’ve been waiting with baited breath to see what Audi, and its parent company the Volkswagen Group, had planned with Ducati‘s small engine technology. Well we don’t have to wait for much longer, as VW Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand Piech revealed the first product of the “DucAudi” union in a speech at the University of Vienna: a new sports car concept called the Volkswagen XL Sport powered by the Superquadro engine from the Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

Ahead of next weekend’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Pramac Ducati MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone will make a stop at the D-Store San Francisco, Wednesday, July 17, starting at 5pm. Complimentary posters will be given out, and there will also be a raffle benefitting Riders for Health. Prizes for the raffle will include donations from photographer Scott Jones, grand stand seats from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and more.
