Boasting a dual seat and twin shocks, the Sport 1000 S lets you enjoy the Caf Racer style two-up. The bold color schemes are black with white stripe or red with white stripe, with both versions sporting black frames, wheels and exhaust systems to complete the classic picture. A removable tailpiece cover gives the Sport 1000 S the Caf Racer look, but when removed reveals a seat for your favorite passenger. DUCATI ROAD HOLDING The Sport 1000 S is built with quality throughout. Its confident road holding is thanks to its race-inspired Trellis frame and sport-tuned suspension. It uses high performance Marzocchi 43mm upside-down front forks with classic brushed aluminum surfaces, while rear suspension is handled by twin high performance fully adjustable Sachs shocks. The Sport 1000 S bristles with classic Caf Racer appeal, while still delivering the superior road holding and performance you expect from Ducati. Compare at $17k from Dealers online. 848 Challenge Oulton Park official race report

Mon, 09 Jul 2012

An emphatic and confident double win for James Folkard (Minards Pavlou Solicitors/Win43.com) this weekend cemented his position as one of the front-runners in the Ducati 848 Challenge. After some strong results at Snetterton and Misano, a first win for the man from Liverpool seemed inevitable, and this weekend at the Ducati Manchester sponsored Oulton Park round he walked away with a maximum points haul. Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) could only manage a third and a second despite feeling good about his chances for a victory, but he won’t be getting too worried yet as he extended his lead over closest rival Darren Fry (Hirebase Ducati Coventry) to 62.5 points.

Intermot 2012: 2013 Ducati 848 EVO Corse Special Edition Announced

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

We expected more from Ducati at the 2012 Intermot show as the Italian manufacturer makes its first appearance at the Cologne show under its new German owners at Audi and the Volkswagen Group. Instead, Ducati chose to keep its juiciest reveals for its home market at EICMA in November while revealing a number of color updates to returning models at Intermot. Ordinarily, we’d call this disappointing but one look at the 2013 Ducati 848 EVO Corse changed our minds.
