The D16RR is literally a Moto GP bike built for the street. At the heart of the D16RR is a compact 989cc V-Four engine inside a version of Ducati's trademark tubular-steel trellis frame. The engine uses the same bore and stroke as that used in the 2006 race bike the D16GP6. It uses the 'twin pulse' firing order in which the crank pins are offset by 70 degrees to generate what Ducati terms as 'soft pulse timing.' Equipped with the race ECU and exhaust system the D16RR achieves 180HP at 13800 rpm at the rear wheel. Pirelli Announces Ducati Panigale Will Use Updated Diablo Supercorsa Tire

Pirelli recently unveiled the latest version of its Diablo Supercorsa tire. The high-performance tire is designed primarily for racing and performance-oriented street riding. The newest member of the Diablo family was presented during EICMA 2011 at Pirelli’s flagship retail location, PZero Moda store, opened this past September on the famed Corso Venezia in Milan.

2014 Lito Sora Electric Motorcycle Entering Production

Canadian company Lito Green Motion announced the start of production for its SORA electric motorcycle. Described as a cafe racer with a bobber twist, the Lito SORA claims a top speed of 118 mph and a range of 124 miles in the city and more than 52 miles at highway speeds. Visually, the Lito SORA stands out from other electric motorcycles.
