2007 Ducati Sportclassic!
Ducati Sport Classic Custom! Sport 1000 - GT 1000 Cafe Racer Beauty!

Starting out as an already beautiful 2007 Ducati GT 1000, this bike was basically converted to a Sport 1000, as the seat, and tank were swapped for units from the Sport 1000 to give it a more "cafe race" look.

Of course the fun doesn't stop there.

Modifications continued as follows:

Termignoni Exhaust Kit (including racing ECU, and performance air filter)
Rizoma Spy R Bar End Mirrors
Rizoma Sportline Grips
Rizoma Next Reservoirs
Rizoma Feel Levers
Clubman Handlebars
Quick Release Carbon Fiber Gas Cap
Oil Cooler Guard
DucaBike Adjustable Rearsets
Racing Wave Brake Rotors
STM Crankcase Oil Breather
RhinoMoto Front and Rear Axle Sliders
Red EK MVXZ Racing Chain and lightweight sprocket
Billet Alternator Inspection Cover
and a custom tail light and fender mount.

These upgrades cost well over $5,000 and are absolutely perfect for this machine!

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Nuggets from Estoril

Tue, 03 May 2011

HRC Executive Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Ducati General Director Filippo Preziosi attracted some major media attention as they enjoyed a lengthy but very public chat in the Estoril paddock. Some speculated they were chewing the fat over Stoner’s brilliance now that even Rossi is struggling to get close to the podium on the D800cc Ducati. Others had no doubt it was the rule change for Moto GP machines moving to 1000cc in 2012 that was being debated.

Report: Ducati to Introduce Three 820cc Models at EICMA

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

Ducati will introduce three new models built around an 820cc platform at the 2012 EICMA show, reports French site Moto-Station. Moto-Station reports the three new models will be a Multistrada 820, a Hypermotard 820 and an as-yet unnamed roadster. Over the last couple of months, spy photos of a new mid-sized Ducati model has been making the rounds, with many people claiming it will be a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard while others, like our own Kevin Duke, believe the new model would be a Multistrada.
