Ducati Other description

2006 DUCATI SPORT CLASSIC 1000

2006, the only year this motorcycle came in a single-seater monoposto (single shock) configuration.  It is the only year that Ducati built this bike with the signature dry clutch.  It is also the only year that it shipped with the asymmetrical swing arm.  It is definitely the most sought after year of the Sport Classic

I am selling this bike because I purchased a new motorcycle just recently and my days on the Sport Classic are over.

The bike is mint!  It runs perfectly, has zero issues with it!
It has a brand new tank just this week, a new voltage regulator/rectifier in 2012 and the infamous tank fuel hose & clamp issue done in 2013 per Moto-Forza Dealer, San Diego.

10,076 miles.
Bike has never been down, not even a tiny accidental lean over in the garage.  Zero damage to the tank, tail, mudguard, etc.  It is in pristine condition!
I have 2 black keys, 1 red key and the Ducati key code card.

- Full Termignoni Exhaust (includes the optional removable "DB Killer" insert)
- Ducati Performance Airbox & Ducati Performance ECU
- Ducati Performance Clutch Pressure Plate
- FLEDA LED tail light with turn signals integrated
- HID headlight (high&low beam)
- Open Clutch Cover
- Tires have plenty of life left on them! (Michelin Pilot Power 2CT)
- Supersprox 42-tooth rear sprocket (15T front - stock configuration), gold anodized aluminum center with RK XW-ring chain in gold finish.  Supersprox warranties the chain/sprocket for life.  If it wears out, they give you another.
- Brand new OEM tank installed 9/2013 by Ducati DealerCaswell lined (with lifetime guarantee by the experts at GTL http://www.gastanklining.com)
- Just registered in California!  Registration good till 10/2014
- Custom License Plate Mount.  If you don't prefer it there, you can buy a cheap fender eliminator and it is easily moved back up.  Very easy.

Here is the YouTube video showing the bike in deatil on 9/24/2013  Click here for video

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V2: 5 Things You Need To Know

Thu, 14 Dec 2023

Don’t sleep on the baby Streetfighter – here are 5 important details about it When Ducati first introduced its original Streetfighter with the 1098 engine in 2009… I hated it. Other than being nice to look at, the riding characteristics were horrible. Oddly enough, when the 848 version was introduced, somehow it was a little more enjoyable to ride.

Could a new Diavel or electric model be on the way? Last week, Ducati announced it would once again present its new product announcements in a series of online presentations. Just like in 2020 and 2021, the Ducati World Première 2023 series will take place over multiple episodes, with each part featuring a different product line.

Rossi and Hayden Debut Ducati Desmosedici GP12 at Sepang MotoGP Test

Tue, 31 Jan 2012

Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden got their first taste of the new Ducati Desmosedici GP12 race bikes at the official MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. It’s only the first day of the pre-season test, and Ducati spent much of its time trying to establish a base setup for the rest of the three-day test. Rossi logged 43 laps and his best time was 2:02.392, fifth fastest of the test and 0.735 seconds behind leader Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha.
