Ducati Other description

Here is my Mike Hailwood. Clearly you know what this is. Mine has been ridden 7677 miles. It has never been down. It has been modded with the aftermarket clutch plate, clutch cover, and GP levers. I do not have those stock parts, fortunately I believe they are easy to come by if you so choose. The bike comes with its plaque in the case, two keys, and manuals. It has recently had the belt service as well as a new chain and some general love. The pictures are representative of its condition. This is a nice example that spent the winter in my living room and that I enjoy riding.

George White & Visordown: 848 Challenge

Tue, 03 May 2011

I've never met a motorcycle dealer who isn't flat-out 24/7 and Steve Gannicott, the big cheese at George White Motorcycles, is no exception. George White's have 7 dealerships across the country and 6 outlet stores - a lot to keep on top of so Steve probably didn't need me pestering him all day but that's exactly what he got. When I managed to get hold of Steve, he was really supportive of my entry to the 848 Challenge and wanted to get behind it because George White now has a Ducati dealership.

Motorcycling can be an expensive proposition. Those who take up the hobby to save money on gas find themselves spending a fortune on riding courses, gear and vanity signs that hang in their garage saying “Motorcycle Parking Only.” Others who get serious about the sport of motorcycle racing find themselves spending an arm and a leg on tires, replacement parts and silicon implants for the girls who hold their umbrellas for them in between heats. Yet another costly investment can be transporting your bike(s) to and from the track.

Effenbert-Liberty Withdraws from Superstock 1000 Cup – Two Less Ducati 1199 Panigales in Competition

Fri, 16 Mar 2012

Mere days after promoting racer Brett McCormick to its World Superbike team, Effenbert-Liberty Racing has announced its withdrawal from the Superstock 1000 Cup. Effenbert-Liberty was one of the higher-profile teams that were planning to compete in the Superstock 1000 Cup on the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Until this week, the team had planned to field McCormick and Federico Sandi in the Superstock series alongside its three-man WSBK team of Sylvain Guintoli, Jakub Smrz and Maxime Berger on the Ducati 1198.
