Ducati Other description

2002 Ducati 998S Bostrom Replica, What? - The 998S Bostrom Version is a limited edition motorcycle highlighted by a unique “Stars & Stripes” graphic treatment inspired by official Ducati Team racer Ben Bostrom. Only a small quantity of 155 998S Bostrom versions will be imported to North America in 2002. This number is highly significant in so far as 155 is Ben’s racing number. The Bostrom version is the performance leader of the street legal Superbike pack. Components such as the Öhlins front and rear suspension, Öhlins adjustable steering damper, light and racy carbon fiber airbox and lower fairing are normally expensive extras on other bikes, but are standard on the 998S Bostrom version, subtracting plenty from its weight but adding lots to the appeal of this exclusive model. The picture is completed with a gorgeous trellis frame and 5 spoke Marchesini wheels in blue.
