A beautiful 1982 Ducati 900 SuperSport for sale. Bike is in great running condition and is one of the best sounding bikes of all time. There are a few small paint defects as expected on a bike of this age and a small scratch on the left side of the tank. See pictures.
Upgrades include Conti exhaust, Koni Shocks & 40mm carbs. Blue tank stripes were removed but can be bought to replace if needed. the original engine wire seal is still intact so engine has never been split. Mon, 08 Mar 2010THIS IS WHAT a 2010 Ducati Multistrada looks like when it's been slung up a gravel road at well over 60mph. The word on the street is that journo Costa Mouzouris of CMGonline is the culprit behind the battled-scarred machine; reports say he lobbed it while on the bike's world press launch in Lanzarote. In true Ducati post-topple fashion, the bike appears to have spewed the contents of its sump over the floor, as well as sustaining a fair bit of cosmetic damage.
Ducati Confirms Checa For 2013, Althea Out
Mon, 29 Oct 2012As the Ducati Factory World Superbike team finalizes its plans for the introduction of the 1199 Panigale into the series, two things are certain: 2011 champion Carlos Checa will be the team’s lead rider, and Team Althea Racing, who have worked with Ducati since 2010, will not be the team’s sponsor. The first bit of news shouldn’t be a surprise, as Checa has been helping the Bologna factory develop the Panigale since mid-year. Checa won the 2011 championship with a masterful display of domination on the 1198, a model many believed to be dated and an underdog before the season began. Details of Checa’s new contract with Ducati have yet to be released other than his role in continuing to develop the 1199 and being the team’s lead rider next year.
Pirelli Announces Ducati Panigale Will Use Updated Diablo Supercorsa Tire
Thu, 17 Nov 2011Pirelli recently unveiled the latest version of its Diablo Supercorsa tire. The high-performance tire is designed primarily for racing and performance-oriented street riding. The newest member of the Diablo family was presented during EICMA 2011 at Pirelli’s flagship retail location, PZero Moda store, opened this past September on the famed Corso Venezia in Milan.
