Ducati Other description
This is a 196x Ducati Falcon 50 Rickshaw that only shows 371 miles on the odometer. This bike was a runner 2.5 years ago but has since been sitting unused, so will need a fresh battery and carb clean. The bike itself it in good shape. The paint seems to have been redone at some point in it's life and was done to the original Ducati scheme. The engine kicks over excellent and pops nice The shifter/clutch lever shifts through the gears well. The exhaust is very nice with no signs of rust. The chrome on the richshaw is starting to pit, but still shines well. The Rickshaw attachment is all original. The headliner is all Egyptian style graphics. The leather top is in good shape with no major rips or tears, but it is quite old, so does have a few cracks. Some of the paint on the Rickshaw body is flaking off. This would make a great addition to a collection or maybe something to use as a promotional vehicle for your business.

Sun, 19 Jun 2022Post-916 and pre-999, Ducati hit a sweet spot in the form of the 998. Still taking the form of Massimo Tamburini’s 1994 masterwork, but powered by the greatly evolved Testastretta V-twin that powered Troy Bayliss to the 2001 World Superbike championship, the 999 was the best of old and new, the apogee of the 916 curve. Well, now it’s just old.
