I am reluctantly offering for sale one of my favorite bikes. It's time to thin the herd. I have owned this bike for almost 9 years and have ridden it a total of 12 miles. I purchased the bike at an auction and met the previous owner after winning the bid. He explained the complete restoration and installing a zero mile speedometer. I have no paperwork or receipts to back up any overhaul claims. I also do not know the mileage on the bike before the restoration. It starts, runs and stops great. I have replaced the batteries and put in fresh gas and started it occasionally over the years. It always starts right up, idles smoothly with no funny noises. Tires are like new, chrome is shiny. No dents, dings, rips, tears or fading. the exhaust has the shorty muffler and is a little loud for me. I am no expert on these Ducatis but have been told it all looks to have all the original parts except that the fenders may have been red at one time. Just as always, as Motorcycle.com continues to cover all the 2009 MotoGP racing news, The Sidecar stays focused on the tracks of this years Grand Prix season. Admittedly I don’t know that much about Italy.

A HONDA NR750 - one of the most hi-tech production motorcycles ever built - is up for grabs on eBay with an asking price of £115,000.The bike was produced in the early 1990s by Honda to showcase the company's engineering skills; a 32-valve, oval piston V4 engine, Carbon Fibre Composite bodywork and titanium-tinted screen are just some of the revolutionary features that warranted the bike's £37,000 original price tag.This particular 1993 model has covered 5000 miles from new - quite a few for a bike with such a heady price tag. We'd have expected it to come with delivery mileage only. It's being sold by an Essex-based dealer who describes the bike as 'IMMACULATE'.

Bob Collins to ride the 848 at Oulton

Bob Collins will be riding the Ducati 848 Challenge VIP bike at Oulton Park BSB on the weekend of the 6th - 8th July. If you're into motorcycle racing, no doubt you'll have heard of Bob Collins. Former R6 Cup competitor 'Viagra Bob' as he was known, went on to win the Superstock 1000 cup in 2006 and then compete at the Isle of Man TT.
