Ducati Other tech info
Ducati Other description
1968 Ducati 350 Scrambler, Bevel drive single/wide case. I restored this bike about three years ago. The restoration included disassembling the bike, blasting and powder coating the frame, new rims and spokes on original hubs, lots of chrome work, new seat, exhaust and many other parts which were ordered from Italy. The engine was running so the points and plug were changed and the bike is in good running condition. The bike had sat for a few months so I recently replaced the battery and also the fuel petcocks to make sure it is in good running condition. The bike is equipped with the original Dellorto SS1 carburetor. I have the compression release and enricher/choke cables and controls which I chose not to put on the bike. They will be sold with the bike. The speedometer needle feel off during a recent ride and the bike will be sold as is (gauge can be replaced or fixed). This bike is a rider as well as a great collectors item. It won first place in its class at the Harvest Classic a few years ago and was rode into the show. The bike has a clear Texas title listing it as a 1968 Ducati with its original five digit engine number as the VIN. The bike is sold as is and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Winning bidder is responsible for $200 deposit via PayPal after auction and remainder of payment via cashier's check or money order within 7days of sale. I can store the bike until arrangements can be made for pickup. |

Ducati 749R Turbo. 214bhp.
Tue, 22 Feb 2011I know that the 749 and the 999 split opinion when they were launched. And even today, they don't possess the obviously stunning silhouette of the 848 and 1098 but I'm pretty sure they'll become curious classics in the future. However, this 749 is different and I think it's stunning because, well, it's not the same old 749R with a few carbon bits added.
WSBK Racer Maxime Berger Losing His Rear Wheel at Donington Park
Tue, 29 Mar 2011We’re still in awe of a bizarre incident from the past weekend’s World Superbike Race at England’s Donington Park. If you haven’t heard what happened yet, check the video after the jump or read about it in our race report. We’ve seen crashes before where a rider lost control of his rear wheel, but not like this.
