Ducati Multistrada description

2010 DUCATI Multistrada 1200S Touring, This 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring has it all! Selectable power modes, electronically adjusted suspension and hard luggage plus this one includes a tail bag and a tinted windshield. Along with removable hard side cases to haul your stuff on that long ride! In addition it has ABS and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control). The Mulitstrada 1200 is sometimes called '4-bikes-in-one' - it's an everyday urban rider, a great-handling touring machine, a capable adventure bike and a sport bike that you can ride all day at the max - all this capability is available at the touch of a button! More than just a functional workhorse, the Multistrada shows it's Italian heritage with beautiful lines and distinctive Ducati styling. While the Testastretta '11 degree' engine keeps Ducati's racing heritage immediately available to provide excitement on track day, the comfortable riding position, sophisticated electronically adjustable suspension, selectable power levels and available luggage system make it an accessible, easy-to-enjoy motorcycle for the rider who wants more than 'just' a track bike. Lightning-Mounted Carlin Dunne Fastest Motorcycle In Pikes Peak Practice, Beating Gas Bikes

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

Carlin Dunne and Lightning electric motorcycles are making a strong case for e-bike supremacy at the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. During the last five days of practice at the mountain, Dunne set the fastest times. With the course split into two halves, Dunne recorded a 4:34.03 on the bottom section, 14 seconds quicker than the nearest competitor, Greg Chicoine, on a 450cc Supermoto.

Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.

EICMA 2012: New Ducati Hyperstrada a Cross between Hypermotard and Multistrada

Mon, 12 Nov 2012

Over the last several months, Ducati fans have been pouring over a number of spy photos and debating whether the new model pictured was a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The answer, it turns out, is a bit of both, with Ducati revealing the new Hyperstrada at the 2012 EICMA Show alongside a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Like the new Hypermotard, the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is equipped with an 821cc version of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11-degree engine.
