Background
The earlier model MTS, they have great torque, particularly on the low-end. The front end comes up with no effort.

I commute on this bike, ride in the mountains, and take long trips (latest was a Colorado - Florida trip).

I can get the bike to a motorcycle shop for shipping if you prefer. But, I live near Boulder, CO, so, I'd recommend flying out here and riding it back home.

2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands

Wed, 17 Aug 2011

Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.

Five minutes with Neil Hodgson

Wed, 14 Dec 2011

Commentating on Eurosport, demo riding at bike shows, instructing on track days and being the Ducati 848 Challenge ambassador are just a few of the jobs that keep Neil Hodgson amused these days. Last week I tripped over the 2003 World Superbike Champion in Almeria so a few personal questions had to be asked. N.M. You seem to have a permanent grin on your face these days, any particular reason?
