Ducati Multistrada description
Specs * 26,200 miles* Side bags and top box rack from DynamicMotorcycleAccessories * Unique under motor exhaust by QD * Custom ECU/Fuel mapping (increased hp and lb/ft) * Side mirrors * Unique front fairing blinkers * Laminar lip (for longer trip wind protection) * Tires have about 1k miles on them * Custom Corbin seat (I also have stock seats) * Bike has never been down Maintenance * Well maintained * Major valves and belts and front forks service in last 300 miles - I have the service paperwork * Work is done by Boulder Motorsports - If you're not familiar with them, this is Brian Sharp's shop. He builds motors for many of the Ducati riders on the Motoamerica circuit. Background The earlier model MTS, they have great torque, particularly on the low-end. The front end comes up with no effort. I commute on this bike, ride in the mountains, and take long trips (latest was a Colorado - Florida trip). I can get the bike to a motorcycle shop for shipping if you prefer. But, I live near Boulder, CO, so, I'd recommend flying out here and riding it back home. |

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Recall Expands to US
Wed, 20 Jun 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale following a similar recall in Canada. The recall affects all versions of the sportbike, including the base 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S and the 1199 Panigale S Tricolore. Ducati is recalling the Panigale because a “non-compliant” screw may have been used to attach the rear suspension linkage to the swingarm.
First Official Pictures of the 2015 Ducati Scrambler
Mon, 29 Sep 2014Ducati has gone to great lengths to promote the launch of its upcoming Scrambler model. We’ve already seen several images of the new model, either from pre-production testing and various teasers including an odd claymation video series. Everyone pretty much already knows what it’ll look like, so Ducati decided to release official photos on its Scrambler Ducati Tumblr page including a full head-on shot and an animated gif of the bike in action.
It's official: Ducati's Diavel IS a cruiser
Wed, 05 Mar 2014OKAY, it's not official. But a deserving way to gain a moniker you don't like is to go around telling people not to call you it - and Ducati has just released this promo video for the new Diavel titled 'Don't call me a cruiser'. So it's officially forever a cruiser to us.
