Ducati Multistrada description

Selling my beloved Ducati Multistrada due to Divorce. You can tell by the pictures and description that I have put lots of time, money, and TLC into making this one of the most versatile Ducatis around

This bike has been very capable since the day I bought it, with Ducati's tried and true air cooled 90 degree dual spark Vtwin. It makes lots of power (94hp) for maintaining fast highway speeds. Then there is that trellis frame and Showa suspension that make Ducatis so fun to ride. It is an incredibly narrow bike making for quick and effortless handling on canyon roads. The only thing that was missing for me on this bike was capabilities where the pavement ends. So I went to work to create a true go anywhere bike. Below are all of the aftermarket additions that make this a perfect bike on road or off.

  • Sergeant seat
  • Moto front fender mount and acerbis fender
  • Zero gravity dale bubble smoke tint windscreen
  • Rental bars with tag 7/8th adapter
  • Hypermoto foot pegs with rubber insert for grip
  • Piaa high output front lights with guards
  • New Barnett clutch, all plates basket and springs
  • Carbon fiber clutch cover
  • Black s2 belt covers
  • Steel Skid shield
  • Steel Fork guards
  • Acerbis brush guards
  • Dynamic rear rack, over seat rack, back rest
  • Strata Adventurossa Custom luggage mount
  • Indestructible water tight pelican cases
  • Strata Adventurossa Engine Guards / crash bars

The bike has 21k miles but has been well cared for with all major services done at Faye Meyers. New clutch feels awesome, the bike is really well sorted for 1 or 2 riders, on road or off. This is a very fair price for a great bike with over $3500 in aftermarket parts on it. I have the title in hand and original key and red key!

848 Challenge official race report: Assen

Wed, 23 May 2012

Robbie Brown shared the race wins with a resurgent Darren Fry at Round Two as the Ducati 848 Challenge visited the Assen TT circuit, the first of its two overseas rounds this year.Championship leader Brown (Ducati Manchester) was on imperious form all weekend, but Fry (Hirebase/JHP Racing), still not back to full fitness following an illness that left him in doubt about riding this year, put in a performance that was reminiscent of the form that took him to the Challenge title in 2010.With a win and a second place this weekend Brown extended his lead at the top of the table, but in also picking up a win and second Fry is back in the game in second with six rounds still to go. Sam Coventry (Moto Rapido), new to the Challenge this season and quickly getting back up to speed racing a twin after his year away in Spanish CEV championship, bagged third in both races to leapfrog to third in the championship.A number of other riders were able to put in solid performances over the two dry race days to do themselves no harm in the championship; in particular Jack Keen (Team Havoc Racing) with a fourth and fifth, and another championship newcomer Sean Neary (MotoCorse UK Racing) who scored a seventh and sixth.Race 1 was something of a dramatic affair with a number of fallers on the first lap, including front-runners Mike Edwards (OHLINS@P&H Motorcycles), Mark Cheetham (Hunt Pie Machines) and James Folkard (Win43.com) who came together at the first left-hander while battling for second place behind Brown. That left Coventry and Fry a clear track to chase down Brown, with Keen and Ed Smith (Ultim8 Racing) pushing hard through the field to close the gap.

Max Biaggi to Test Ben Spies’ Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Retired four-time 250cc Grand Prix Champion and two-time World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi will be returning to the track this week to ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at MotoGP test at Italy’s Mugello circuit. Biaggi will be riding in place of Pramac Racing‘s Ben Spies who continues to rehab his shoulder and pectoral muscle injury. With Spies’ on-going injury problems and a star like Biaggi on tap, some might hope this change may be a more permanent arrangement but Pramac is careful to state Biaggi will only be testing the Desmosedici with Ducati test team rider Michele Pirro continuing to race in Spies’ absence.
