Ducati Multistrada description

nice super low mileage Multistrada 1000. I am the second owner. the original owner received the bike from his wife as a gift in 2004. he put just over 3000 miles on it before being grievously injured in a auto accident involving a tractor trailer. two months in the hospitial then another eight months rehabbing at home. tried riding the bike after recouping and dropped it in his driveway. he kept starting it occasionally until this spring 2016, and put it up for sale.

I bought the Ducati and took it to Moto Europa in St Louis and the following work was performed on their recommendation.

new timing belts

new avon tires

brakes flushed

crank sensor seal replaced

new battery

chain adjusted and lubed

oil/filter change

bike runs awesome, killer torque, handles great, just a cool bike. need to find something else seat height plays hell on my hip throwing a leg over.

cosmetic flaws are seen in pictures. the scrape on the right tail section happened when it fell over literally on him rolling it down the driveway. the other minor scratches are from long term storage. this is a good, inexpensive Ducati with low miles ready to ride anywhere.

licensed, titled, and insured in my name

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Thu, 17 May 2012

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

Should this Ducati Video be Rated R?

Wed, 13 May 2009

I’m feeling a little uncomfortable after watching Ducati’s recently posted “Colour Therapy” video.  Are you prepared to watch a Ducati technician strip a Ducati Monster of it’s plastic to reveal it’s true nakedness?  Cover your eyes if you are under 18. Ducati posted this video on YouTube to promote their “Colour Therapy”.  “Colour Therapy” is there way of customizing the colour of your Ducati Monster motorcycle with an easily interchangeable kit that is available at Ducati dealerships.  I have personally picked out a new colour for the Ducati that I don’t own. Hit the jump to see how a Ducati technician strips a Ducati Monster to “re-dress” it with some new colours.
