2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Enters Production
Wed, 25 Jan 2012The much anticipated 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale has entered serial production, with the Italian manufacturer celebrating the first unit to roll off the assembly line. Staff gathered around to mark the beginning of production for Ducati‘s latest sportbike. Ducati President and Chief Excutive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio was joined by General Director Claudio Domenicali to watch as Plant Director Silvano Fini celebrated the first Panigale by showering it with sparkling wine.

In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
