Up for auction is a 2014 Ducati Monster 1200. Comes with a 2 into 1 GP style stainless slip-on. Bike has never been dropped or laid down, fuel tank has a carbon fiber tank protector. Tires are also in great shape. Needs nothing and is ready to ride. The only imperfection visible is a small tear in the bottom of the seat cover about 2 inches in length which pictured. As a dealer, bike will be serviced and ready to go upon pick up. Will come with a clean Ohio title. <p> It comes with a performance Testastretta 11 degree Dual Spark engine and a six speed transmission. The Monster is equiped with a 2 into 1 stanless steel GP exhaust. The Monster has three riding modes (Urban, Touring, Sport) which modifies the power to the engine. Braking ABS system is equiped with Brembo four piston front calipers and Brembo two piston caliper in the rear for performance braking. The 10 spoke aluminum alloy wheels have Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires for agility and handling response at all speeds. <p> Ownership will be transferred to you with a clean Ohio title. You may have to pay tax depending on what state you live in. If you live in CA,FL,IN,MA or MI you will need to pay 6% tax, AZ is 5.6% and South Carolina is 5%. You will only have to pay tax once unless your state tax is more than 6% then you will need to pay the difference once you get it registered in your state. Ohio residents will pay their local county tax. Winning bid does not include dealer documentation fee of $199, title fee of $15 and optional 30 day tag fee of $18.50. There is a down payment of $500 through Paypal required once the auction has ended. Please call at the end of the auction to complete the transaction. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for the payment at that time. If full payment via Paypal is desired a 3% surcharge will be added to the total. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end, if no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder or sell it otherwise. Due to the large number of fakes and phonies, we can only accept cashiers checks with pick up after 10 business days of receipt. Wire transfers are required for immediate pick up. Financing available for local customers only and must be arranged before bidding. Mastercard and Visa available for local pick up ONLY, with proper I.D. A surcharge of 2% will be added. Bayliss Beats Rossi in World Ducati Week Diavel Drag Race
Mon, 25 Jun 2012Former World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss out-dueled MotoGP star Valentino Rossi in a highly-anticipated showdown to win the Diavel drag race on the Misano Circuit‘s starting straight as part of World Ducati Week 2012 celebrations. Bayliss and Rossi faced off in the final round after getting through the preliminary rounds which also featured Rossi’s MotoGP teammate Nicky Hayden, reigning WSBK Champion Carlos Checa, Jakub Smrz, Sylvain Guintoli, Niccolò Canepa and Lorenzo Zanetti. The final between the two multiple-time World Champions saw Bayliss getting off to a clean start while Rossi’s Diavel wheelied off the ground a couple of times.

Thu, 05 Aug 2010In today’s news that really isn’t news, an interview of Ducati CEO, Gabriele del Torchio, by Bruno de Prato found on Cycle World’s website on August 3rd, reveals the CEO speaking in a matter-of-fact tone about Valentino Rossi’s status as a team member on Ducati’s MotoGP effort. In the CW article, Del Torchio states that the 2010 racing season “will not bring to Ducati any crown in the sport,” but that he looks “forward to Valentino Rossi teaming up with Nicky Hayden.” “Nicky is a wonderful person and a great rider. This year, he greatly contributed to improving our Desmosedici racer.
Man stuff: Ducati Zippo
Wed, 18 Jul 2012I don't smoke, so my excuses for buying this are very limited - but that doesn't stop me wanting it. It's a Ducati Zippo from 1982, not that Zippo technology has changed much in the last two decades but the price of this one has. If it was a tenth of its £170 asking price, I might have bought it.
