Up for sale is my personal 2014 Ducati Monster 796 ABS. This by far the sweetest looking monster out there. It is loaded with many extras including: -Rizoma frame sliders, front and rear hub sliders, bar ends, driver and passanger pegs, and mirrors -CRG adjustable, shorty levers -Custom exhaust -New front and rear black sprockets(front has been reduced to 15 tooth for better acceleration) and new chain -Ducati fender eliminator -Carbon fiber tank guards The color combination of black silk and red is just amazing. The bike has less than 5100 miles on it, but I do ride it occasionally so that my change a bit, it has never been down, the only blemishes are a scuff on the seat(pictured) and a scrath on one mirror (both pictured). The bike has just been serviced by a local Ducati specialists and is in excellent running condition. I have the title and 2 keys in hand and it has current CA registration through Oct 2017. I will require a $500 initial deposit with the balance coming by cashiers check or wire transfer. Local pick up or shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Nicky Hayden Signs Contract Extension with Ducati
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Ducati has signed Nicky Hayden to a one-year contract extension, retaining the Kentucky native for the 2013 MotoGP season. Hayden, who turns 31 on July 31, has raced for Ducati‘s factory team since 2009. During this period, Hayden has been somewhat overshadowed by his teammates, first by Casey Stoner and now Valentino Rossi.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
EICMA Show Visitors Vote Ducati 1199 Panigale ‘Most Beautiful Bike’
Mon, 14 Nov 2011According to a post on CycleNews.com visitors to EICMA 2011 voted Ducati’s new Panigale superbike the “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” in a vote organized by the Italian bike magazine, Motociclismo. The new Duc collected 53% of the votes from nearly 14,000 participants. The MV Augusta F3 Serie Oro collected 15% of the vote for second place, with 3% of the vote going to Husqvarna’s Nuda 900R for third.
