Ducati Monster description
2012 Ducati Monster 796, I purchased this bike last year, but unfortunately I have to move. and can't take the bike with me. It only has 1260 miles on it and is in perfect shape. Simply put, this bike turns heads.. There aren't very many Ducati's in Richmond, and certainly none with the matte black paint job with red accent. The famous Ducati L-Twin engine is gentle enough for a beginner but has enough power and torque for you to grow into as an experienced rider. It was adult driven, never damaged I never took it above 5000 rpm during the first 600 miles, and never above 9000 rpm during the life of the bike. The maneuverability is second to none, so if you were interested it would also make a great track bike. Specs: 803 cc L-Twin Desmodromic engine 87 hp @ 8250 and 58 lb. ft of torque at 6250 169 kg (373 lbs) dry weight Anti-lock Braking System Condition: 1260 Miles Perfect cosmetic and functional condition Service: 600 Mile service done at Ducati Dealership (Redline Performance Motorsports in Yorktown, VA) State inspection updated August 3, 2013 Modifications: Evotech Fender Eliminator Motodynamics Integrated Tail Light I have the original fender and lights for you $10,000.00 8049779950

Bayliss Retires from Motorcycle Testing
Tue, 26 Jun 2012Retired World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss announced he is retiring once again, this time from his duties as a test rider for Ducati. Bayliss, who retried from racing after winning his third WSBK title in 2008, had been working with Ducati, most notably as a test rider for the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Bayliss tweeted (@TroyBaylisstic) his intention to no longer test on June 23, just hours after beating Valentino Rossi in the finals of the Diavel drag race at World Ducati Week 2012.
A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler
Tue, 02 Dec 2014While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.
Ducati Targeting Aprilia Racing Manager Gigi Dall’Igna
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ducati has reportedly signed Aprilia Racing manager Gigi Dall’Igna to take control of its struggling MotoGP program. Neither Ducati Corse or Aprilia Racing have confirmed the reports, but several sources in the European motorsports press such as Motociclismo.it, not to mention a tweet from retired World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, claim the deal is done. Dall’Igna has been an instrumental figure in Aprilia’s racing success since the manufacturer’s return to WSBK racing with the RSV4 in 2009, helping guide Biaggi to two championships and, pending the result of the 2013 season finale at Jerez, likely three manufacturers titles.
