The exclusive Ducati Superbike rising rate, ride height adjustable rear suspension system includes a new single-sided aluminum swingarm. An extraordinarily beautiful “two into one into two” exhaust has been designed for the S4R. With both silencers positioned high and on the right side of the bike, the system has an aggressive and powerful new look. The S4R boasts a wide array of performance features and is available in a new range of colours: solid glossy black, and either blue or red with a white racing stripe. The 996 cc, liquid-cooled, Desmoquattro, fuel-injected, L-twin engine is derived directly from our World Superbike champion race bikes. Cal Crutchlow To Join Ducati MotoGP
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Reports are coming in from Europe stating in 2014 Cal Crutchlow will be once again teaming up with AndreaDovizioso, this time on the unruly and uncompetitive Ducati Desmosedici. This despite his current Yamaha Tech 3 team receiving financial assistance from the factory to give Crutchlow a significant pay increase, something Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis said was “unusual.”The deal is set to be officially announced Friday. While the Yamaha offer was alluring, the former World Supersport champion has been putting in strong performances this season securing a pole position and occasionally beating factory riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo which has prompted him to demand a factory Yamaha M1 by 2015.

The picture above reminds me of the picture on the right, which was one of the first wallpapers I had on my PC way back in 1997.

This time he willbe in charge of the organization and logistics of the Italian squad in the MotoGP World Championship. The former Bimota racer had a very successful career as Ducati team manager in Superbike, collaborating with champions of the caliber of Fogarty, Bayliss, Corser, Toseland and Hodgson, and contributing to the conquest of seven rider’s titles in the production-based racing series.
