Ducati Monster description
2010 Ducati Monster 696, Red frame white body Ducati 696 Monster ABS for sale. I am the first owner and have put on approximately 9,600 miles on the bike. Bike is always garaged, placed on battery tender and ridden at least 1x per month. All maintenance performed by MotoCorsa in Portland, OR most recent maintenance performed in July 2013 and is not due for another until 15,000 miles or two years. After market parts include adjustable CRG brake, CRG clutch lever, slide bars, new chain, new rear sprocket with one tooth missing (upgrade by MotoCorsa), CRG Arrow handlebar mirrors, new front and rear tires. Bike also comes with two seats, one lowered (drops seat height to 29.5 in) and one stock (seat height 30.3 in). I am a 5ft 3in woman and with the stock seat I can straddle the bike and balance comfortably on my toes but the lowered seat allows me to balance on the balls of my feet in boots. I also have a GIVI tank lock bag which hovers over the gas tank and does not make contact at all with the paint. Bike is very much loved and price is firm. Bike has not been ridden aggressively and purrs like a kitten. This bike is great for a beginner who knows the basics, and will still make the most advanced rider grin from ear to ear. I have taken this bike on several trips throughout the northwest including Missoula, MT, Coeur d'Alene, ID, California redwoods, Napa Valley, Crater Lake, Mount St. Helen's, Mount Hood, several OR and WA coast trips and many weekend/overnight camping trips. The bike always draws attention no matter where I ride her and has brought me many years of joy. No test rides without cash in hand. $6,600.00
