Ducati Hypermotard description

2014 Ducati Hypermotard SP

Bike is perfect.  Better than new or stock.  Not a scratch on it and the tires are still great.  It needs nothing except someone who likes to ride a bike this crazy fun.

Miles – 1,350

600 mile service and all service work done by MotoEuropa (original dealer) in St Louis.

It includes:

-          Everything that comes with the bike stock (spare key, manuals, etc….)  $14,000 purchase

-          Termignoni – High mount exhaust.  ($3,000 value)

-          2015 complete clutch upgrade done by the dealer to eliminate over sensitive clutch that the pre-2015’s are known for.

-          2015 complete throttle system upgrade  - done by the dealer to eliminate over sensitive throttle that the pre-2015’s are known for.

-          Racetech tuned / stock Marzocchi front fork’s.  I had this done by Racetech in California to settle down the front of the bike.  If you look at the 2016 model – this is what Ducati is accomplishing by putting the new Ohlins forks on.  The feel of my forks are outstanding.  This made a huge improvement in the bike. ($800 worth of suspension tuning)

-          $17,800 value in this bike.

Bike is paid for and title is in hand.   No test rides without a deposit and intent to buy.   Please go to a Ducati dealer and ride a new SP if you are curios how this bike rides.  Mine is as good / better than that.

$500 deposit is required once the auction is won.  Remaining amount due on pickup of the bike with a Certified Cashier's Check.  We can meet at the local bank and have it verified - then exchange for the bike.

I am selling because I have 2 other bikes and one of them is a 1970 old BMW that I want to spend more time working on.  This Hyper just isn’t getting ridden.  Please feel free to ask questions.  Thanks  Greg.

Wrecked Ducati Desmosedici RR to be Auctioned

Tue, 20 Sep 2011

For sale to highest bidder: slightly used 2008 Ducati Desmosedici RR street-legal MotoGP replica. Okay, maybe “slightly used” is a bit misleading. This Ducati Desmosedici RR (one of only 1,500 produced) lost a battle with physics and currently sits in pieces at Insurance Auto Auctions’ Fremont, Calif., branch.

Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.

Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed

Mon, 14 Nov 2011

Interesting motorcycles you probably didn't see1 of 11Next Last There’s no cave deep, mountain high or rock heavy enough to have thwarted news of Ducati’s 1199 Panigale superbike launch at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. What we’ve comprised below is our list Top 10 Bikes unveiled at EICMA that didn’t receive top billing but are certainly worthy of your attention.
