Cheers RobertThe Hypermotard was available in 2 configurations the base model and the higher specification S model.The more expensive S featured a durable low friction diamond-like cardon (DLC) black coating to the front fork sliders an hlins remote reservoir rear shock the same Brembo Monobloc brake calipers pre-owned on the lighter forged aluminium Marchesini wheels with a red pin-stripe Pirelli tires plus carbon fibre fork protectors timing belt covers front mudguard fender and tail exhaust side panels. These upgrades made for a kg (. lb) weight saving kg ( lbs) versus kg ( lbs) for the base model. To help with identifying the different models at a glance if the fork protectors are plastic and match the colour of the tank it s almost certainly a base model (although some base model owners change to carbon protectors).
