I've added more photos and more details and NO RESERVE! 1978 Ducati 900GTS Frame #854652 Engine #854765 Here is your chance to own a preserved original condition 4000 mile Square Case Bevel Head Ducati at a reasonable price. This 900GTS is 1 out of 300 bikes produced in 1978 and only 80 of them went to the US market.. I purchase this bike from the 2nd owner who is a dear friend a few years back. He owned the bike since 1979 or 1980 and held it in his collection since i purchased it. It has been well cared for and has only 4065 miles on the clock. The miles are true and correct. It has its original black paint with silver stripes. The paint is in fantastic condition and has only very light crackling in it if you look very closely in sunlight due to its age.. The patina is true and honest.. Recently serviced which includes rebuilt carbs, fuel tank clean and inspected, oil change, new battery..This bike runs perfectly and purrs like a kitten . The only non original part on it are the K&N low handle bars which the pervious owner switch out..I will provide its original factory handle bars in with sale. The original headers were black chromed back in early 80's to match color of handle bars. Factory and original LaFranconi exhaust and no dings!!All switches and lights work as they should. The Pirelli Phantom tires are in great shape. Still has factory side stand and center stand still intact and in perfect condition. Factory electric start and also kick start. Both working perfectly. This bike was purchased new from Ghost Motorcycles Dealer in Long Island, NY and still has dealer sticker on rear fender. The dealer is no longer in business. It just so happens that I personally know the old owners and they verified the dealer sticker on rear fender to be true and accurate. They also gave me a old business card which I will include in sale. What more can i say, the bike is still new with very low miles. EICMA 2012: 2013 Ducati Hypermotard Gets New 821cc Liquid-Cooled Engine
Mon, 12 Nov 2012Ducati is streamlining its Hypermotard lineup for 2013, replacing its air-cooled 796 and 1100 models with a new 821cc liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Announced at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, the line now includes the Hypermotard, the Hypermotard SP and the more touring-oriented Hyperstrada which you can read about in a separate post. Bowing to ever tightening environmentally-friendly restrictions, the new generation of Hypermotards come equipped with a new 821cc version of Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Recalled in Canada – US Recall Likely to Follow
Fri, 15 Jun 2012Transport Canada has issued a recall notice for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale due to an incorrect screw used in the rear suspension. At this point, the recall is only in Canada and the U.S.’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet issued a similar recall, but considering Ducati North America operates in both countries, a U.S. recall is likely to follow in the next week.

Mon, 27 Jul 2009Sunday's MotoGP race at Donington was a weird one, but a really enjoyable race all the same. Strange to see both Ducati's plodding away at the back and even stranger to see Rossi make a mistake. Was it Rossi's doing or was he feeling the pressure from Dovizioso?
