1952 Other Makes MB175 Maicomobile (1952)
We are dissolving a rather eclectic 30+ year collection of 30+ mostly exceptional classic motorcycles and scooters from the 50-ies, 70-ies and 80-ies due to sudden and serious health conditions having come up just in the past couple of months. Hence we are listing here this very rare, restored 72 year old !!! scooter from a german company named Maico, an early 1952 Maicomobil 175 with the original 2 piece front fairing (all later Maicomobil have the single piece unit) in 10 day auction format with a $22.220.00 starting bid and no reserve to the highest bidder to purchase. The buy-it-now price is the exact amount a nearly identical scooter like this sold for a few years back in an auction including the buyers premium. It is posted in case someone wants to buy the scooter outright and does not want to bid or wait until the end of the auction. The buy-it-now price includes the professional crating for transport anywhere. The scooter was restored from the ground up and displayed in our collection and is located at our house near Lisbon in Portugal and is one of 2 Maicomobil in our collection.2024-06-22 10:47:49Lisbon, Portugal12,00022,220.00
