2011 BMW K1300S Tri-Color (Lupine Blue/Alpine White/Sapphire Black) The bike was purchased from BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco and I'm the second owner, putting over 11,000 miles on the bike in about 2.5 years. With 22,500 miles on the clock, the bike is in practically showroom condition with all maintenance up to date. The tires are Michelin Road Pilot 4 GT’s with 5500 miles on them and they look as new! Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Thu, 30 Jan 2014From the “Answer To Question Nobody Asked” department comes this: wheel adaptors for the Can-Am Spyder to allow more conventional five-lug wheels to replace the standard three-luggers. Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.
