Hello, I have a very nice 2009 can-am spyder SE5. It has998cc rotex v-twin engine, vehicle stability system, antilock breaking system, semi automatic transmission, digital security system. Here are the extras, creatorx graphics kit professionally installed, can-am spyder passenger back rest, chrome widow winshield trim, rear sport rack included, kuryakyn hand grips, large wind deflectors #219400164, seat cover luimoto, passenger butt buffer, widow axle caps rear, ultra touring windshield, also comes with ultra wind screen, new custom 6 spoke front wheel and tire kit # 219400071-706201411, new never installed module run/turn signal front fenders, fog lights, professionally installed heli bars/handle bar riser it raisers bars toward driver five and half inches in conjuction with the can-am inch riser, hindle exhaust, can-am spyder full cover, also tire covers.I'm 2nd owner of this bike, I bought this bike from a female Dr. out of Elkart Indiana.  She put 5000 miles on it with yearly service records done. I put the rest of the miles on in over a 3 yr. Period with the same meticulous services done. This will make someone a very nice bike for years to come. Soon will be 60 years old selling because of health issues.

Not only has Bombardier designed and built snowmobiles, planes, trains and the Can-Am Spyder, the privately held Quebec-based company also tinkers with prototypes like the Embrio – the French Canadian answer to the Segway Human Transporter and resembles closely to the “Uno”. Unlikely to ever see actual production, this one-wheeled concept uses gyroscopic technology to balance its rider. The vehicle was allegedly designed to demonstrate what we bipedal humanoids might be using for transportation in the year 2025.

2008-2012 Can-Am Spyders Recalled for Fire Risk

Bombardier Recreational Products has initiated two recalls in Canada on Can-Am Spyder Roadsters for a risk of fire due to a leaky gas cap. One recall covers certain units from model years 2008-2012, which covers all prior model years since the three-wheeler was first introduced in 2008. The second recall applies to model years 2008-2010.

Bombardier Recreational Products has filed a preliminary prospectus with the necessary securities regulatory bodies in Canada for a proposed initial public offering of subordinate voting shares. Should things go according to plan, non-controlling shares of the company will be available on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The Financial Post reports BRP hopes to raise CN$250 million (US$243 million).
