Housed in a new frame common to the Tiger 90 and Tiger 100, the twin-carburettor Daytona engine produced 39bhp at 7,400rpm. Dubbed a 'Bonnie in miniature' by the motorcycling press, the new sporting middleweight came equipped with the 8"-diameter front brake of its larger sibling, but in a lighter more nimble package.

Can-Am/BRP has just taken the (photographic) wraps off the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3! Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has an ongoing relationship with the National Hockey League (NHL), and it’s latest iteration has sports legends telling how much they like riding Can-Am Spyders. An earlier video had NASCAR racer Danica Patrick riding the Spyder around Charlotte Motor Speedway. Well, not BRP has tapped six-time Stanley Cup champion Mark Messier to use his own special technique to reach out to potential riders.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

From the “Answer To Question Nobody Asked” department comes this: wheel adaptors for the Can-Am Spyder to allow more conventional five-lug wheels to replace the standard three-luggers. Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.
