For your consideration, is a 1977 yamaha xs 650,This auction is for what is pictured only frame engine carbs tank ONLY!! i purchased this with the intention of making it into a cool chop, but no cash or time left , so my loss is your gain, The engine has good compression andkicks over well, there is no electric start, the kicker has a brass kicker pedal,there is chrome valve covers and acorn nuts, i have never had the engine running or apart, so i cannot say with certainty, of the condition, i was told from the previous owner it was gone through, but i have no way of documenting this. Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Thu, 30 Jan 2014From the “Answer To Question Nobody Asked” department comes this: wheel adaptors for the Can-Am Spyder to allow more conventional five-lug wheels to replace the standard three-luggers. Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.
