    This is a very clean YZ250 2-Stroke with very low hours. It has a FMF Turbine Core silencer/USFS approved spark arrestor, full coverage Cycra skid plate, and TM Designs chain guide. It is on the original sprockets with a Renthal o-ring chain, new Twin-air filter, and new rear tire.

    Chassis: Fresh oil and seals in forks, engine and rear shock.  New Dunlop tires, only one ride since mounted.  Ouri clamp on grips.  EBC oversize front brake.  Steel braded front brake cable.  Blue aluminum gas cap.  Modern style plastic kit.  Renthal Bars 971 bend.  Fresh wheel bearings.  DNA wheel set, blue hubs, black rims.  Black grip seat.  Tag brand top triple clamp with solid bar mount.  Ironman high strength rear sprocket.  Gold chain.  Wave rotor on rear brake (stock was solid).  Titanium rear spring (stock rate).  SSS Kayaba suspension (considered the best in the business)   Engine: Top end was modified by Forward Motion (Eric Gore), it was ported, bored and power valve cut to accomodate the larger piston.  Fresh piston and rings.  Head is modified for 100 octane gas also included is a head that will accommodate regular pump gas (lower compression).  Delta V reed values.  Pro Circuit pipe.  FMF silencer with spark arrester.  Hammer custom gear shifter.  Boyesen Clutch cover.  Boyesen Ignition cover.  Blue radiator hoses    Spare parts that come with the bike:   Various plastics, fenders, number plates.   Additional comments:  This bike has had a high degree of maintenance over its lifetime and is a relatively low hour unit.  This bike is a great handling, great suspended and has a great motor with lots of low end torque, a solid mid range and plenty of top end.   Clear title.

Can-Am/BRP has just taken the (photographic) wraps off the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3! Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.

Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has an ongoing relationship with the National Hockey League (NHL), and it’s latest iteration has sports legends telling how much they like riding Can-Am Spyders. An earlier video had NASCAR racer Danica Patrick riding the Spyder around Charlotte Motor Speedway. Well, not BRP has tapped six-time Stanley Cup champion Mark Messier to use his own special technique to reach out to potential riders.

2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

From the “Answer To Question Nobody Asked” department comes this: wheel adaptors for the Can-Am Spyder to allow more conventional five-lug wheels to replace the standard three-luggers. Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show.
