2003 Custom Built Motorcycles Chopper (2003)
For sale is my 03 Springer Softail build.When I purchased the bike, the odo read 4 miles on the motor build.The previous owner did most of the body fab. After I took possession, I changed out the bars and cables, put new grips and pegs on, relocated the bar controls to other areas, swapped in a Mikuni 42mm carb, serviced the entire bike (gaskets, brakes, fluids, etc) and swapped out the fuel tank.This is titled RECO in the state of Minnesota for the custom build. Made in USA by CMB custom mini chopper with polished front fork, polished solid rear wheel with Avon tire, polished custom billet 16" front wheel. Powered by a 195cc 6hp electric start tecumseh engine with chromed custom pipe. Has a comet tav 30 belt drive with polished cover. Gas tank started as a big chopper tank and was narrowed 3" to fit the bike. Has working headlight and led tail light. Welds on the frame were smoothed and molded, wires and cables were run through the frame when possible. Disc brake on the rear. Painted with Duplicolor spray can, cleared and buffed- looks nice. top speed approx 40-45 mph, total length approx 7', seat height 17", total weight approx 175lbs.---made for an average sized adult. Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Thu, 30 Jan 2014From the “Answer To Question Nobody Asked” department comes this: wheel adaptors for the Can-Am Spyder to allow more conventional five-lug wheels to replace the standard three-luggers. Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.
