Can-Am Other description

This auction is for a One off custom Can Am Spyder Rat Rod, called "The Skorpio". This bike is 90% done on the structural and underbelly functioning end of things. It mainly needs some wiring, a shell/fairing and a seat. This project was designed and built to this level by Mark Dugally of Dugally MADercycles ( www dot dugallery dot com) . It was not able to get finished due to other project constraints and schedule. The original bike has less than 2000 miles on it, runs perfectly and has a clean title. All of the major elements you see in the design are already done: Steering column moved forward almost a foot. Drag bars and controls in place. Radiator and oil cooler moved to front (like car grill). All of the unnecessary elements like bracketry and fairing stays are removed. There is even a custom gas tank built to fit tightly alongside the frame to allow for the designed shell to fit.  It has near new tires, custom made billet reservoirs for brake and clutch, Aprilia Tuono master cylinders (Brembo), ASV levers.

Mark is available for design and build consultation for this project, if you decide to go with this design. Also, most body work is available (from original bike) and is included in the purchase. If you want to really turn heads on a machine that you can say you built yourself, this is the one.

Thanks for looking!

Be sure you understand that this is a project bike that is not completed nor in running condition.  I got a chance to ride this machine in it's original condition, everything worked great and it ran very strong!  Everything is in sound mechanical condition.

Can-Am Announces 2015 Spyder F3 and Biketoberfest Contest

Wed, 03 Sep 2014

Can-Am/BRP has just taken the (photographic) wraps off the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3! Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.
