This 1972 Honda CL175 spent the last 20+ years in a private collection, and the late owners widow recently liquidated everything. We were fortunate enough to get this beautiful, unrestored, original bike, and are now offering it here for the next owner to enjoy. A bike is only original once, and this is a rare find.

Selling my 1972 Honda CL350 rat cafe racer. The tank is stripped, pipes chopped and have installed shorty matte black mufflers since the photos were taken (sound great), black powder coat wheels, new spitfire tires, clip on cafe racer handlebars, new clutch and brake controls, new renthal grips, pod filters, new carbeurator rebuild, and new taillight/plate bracket.  Skateboard seat (not the most uncomfortable ride).

You are looking at a 99% complete as far as I can tell (no tool kit) 1972 Honda CL350 Scrambler with a title! This would make a great winter restoration or cafe racer project.  The biggest issue is the gas tank. It is very rusty inside as you can see in the photo but the tank is very solid and not rusted through.

I'm selling my 1972 Honda CL350 motorcycle. You can see I had some fun with the theme/emblems I put on the bike. All can be removed very easy if you choose to change.

Very clean 1972 Honda CL175 Scrambler with a CL200 (198cc) engine. This bike was very fun to ride, great for around town and can cruised comfortably at 50-60mph.  Reserve @ $1000 Engine seized. Overheated.

1972 HONDA CL350 Street Scrambler.............Ready to ride while you restore or 'make it your own' type of bike. This bike was shown at the Rocker Box swap meet and drew a lot of interest...........but no one brought any CASH!........The pics speak for themselves, except the rusty mirror on the right will be replaced by a better unit. The starter motor works but occasionally does not catch.........typically weak springs in the spraque-clutch.

This is a 1972 Honda CL450 K5 Scrambler that's been about half restored.  I've lost the title, but VINs match on the frame and engine.   This is a project bike with lots of new parts that I just haven't put back together yet.

Selling my old high school Honda 450 scrambler bike from the 70's. I guess we were all Fonzie want -a-be's,  I am the second owner and purchased in 1974, the bike has been stored and ridden every so often , just time to let her go ! Would make a nice cafe' bike .

True museum quality! This came out of a local Honda museum and is basically a true one owner besides the museum. It has been well maintained and even ridden a handful of miles a few times each year in order to keep things lubed and fresh.

This beautiful, unrestored original bike is a real "head turner". Everywhere I ride it, people are attracted. I bought this bike because it is the exact model, color and year of my first bike that I bought new in 1972.

Great, complete project bike. Needs work of course, doesn't run, but it does have good compression and kicks well. Make it a cafe racer as seems to be the current trend.

1972 HONDA CL450 ScramblerAll Original      The CL450 Scrambler hardly needs an introduction. If you are reading this ad, then you likely know the history of these bikes. Following the immediate success of Honda's CL72 250cc Scrambler and the famous Dave Ekins/Bill Robertson Tijuana to La Paz ride in March of 1962 on 250 Scramblers, Honda decided to increase the engine size in increments from 250 to 305, and finally using the DOHC engine of the original Black Bomber, to 450cc.

Every summer I think I am going to have time to finish this project, and every summer I am wrong, so due to a sudden move to Philly here it is, up for sale. It's spent the majority of the last 2 and a half years in my stored in my shed.   The following stuff has been replaced in the last 4 years and has less than 100 miles of use: -Clutch pack -tires (the wheels were also checked for true and the insides of the rims were sandblasted and sealed with rust proofer) -various gaskets and seals -ignition coils -ignition points (which I just checked and are still clean and within adjustment) -valve adjustment -Carbs are completely rebuilt and cleaned to a very high standard.

 this bike has new pistons 0.1 O.S. - 0 miles on it, needs to be tuned.  No blinkers.  It is running.  I am selling it as is. The bike sells with seat (to be reupholstered), air filters and chrome filter covers, and center stand.

This 1972 Honda CL 175 is an all original. The paint, leather, and parts are in flawless condition. This beauty spent almost all of its life in a garage.

1972 Honda CL175 Scrambler  The Honda CL175 is a Scrambler style motorcycle made by Honda from 1969 to 1973. The CL175 has a 174 cc Overhead camshaft, twin-cylinder, four stroke, air-cooled engine, dual carburetors, dual exhausts, five-speed gearbox, 12-volt, kick and electric start, front and rear drum brakes, turn signals, speedometer with trip meter, 1972 and later models, and tachometer, and was rated at 20 bhp.  This 1972 Honda CL175 is in excellent condition.  Looking for a pristine CL450, look no further.  This 1972 Honda CL450 has been completely restored;  "a frame-off restoration".  It is in showroom condition, you can proudly ride it or show it.    When dismantled, all painted surfaces were bead blasted to bare metal.  Gas tank interior  was de-rusted by a Rusteco solution;  rusteco.com .  Gas tank and air filter covers were professionally painted.  New decals applied and then painted with a clear coat, a very good UV protection.   A used but VERY nice condition replacement speedometer installed on the bike reading, 9,821 miles.  The original speedometer and title read, 25,045 miles, which was replaced because it was dented.

A Nice 1972 HONDA CL350 K-4 Scrambler     This is a rare original configuration Honda CL 350 Scrambler. Many of these bikes have been converted to café racers over the years. I'm the 2nd owner, this CA bike has always been garaged and well maintained. I have all maintenance records of work performed at Charlie’s Place in San Francisco.

I am selling my 1972 Honda CL175 with 5,784 miles.  I would call this bike, for the year, to be in excellent condition.  The original seat is flawless.  The front and rear tires, along with the battery have been replaced.  Gas tank has been cleaned inside and sealed, carbs rebuilt and it has had a complete tuneup.  The oils have been changed and the filter cleaned.  This bike starts and runs like new.  The bike has been stored inside as you can tell by the seat, the paint and the red color in the tac and speedometer are still bright.  There are some minor flaws so that you know that I am accurately representing this bike.  The front rim has a spot rust mark, the front forks on the lower part will not polish up perfect, the tank has a small blemish on the right side, the right exhaust pipe has a blue spot and there is a small rash on the muffler guard.  This bike has a clean Iowa title.  If you are serious about wanting to own a bike of this vintage this is the one. $200 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the auction end.  This must be cash or through Paypal.  The remaining balance must be paid cash, cashier's check, Paypal or USPS money order.  The bike will not leave until payment has cleared. Hello and thanks for looking at my auction.Up for bid is my 1972 Honda 350CL.I bought this used in 2010  from back east and had it shipped out here in a closed container.This bike had been well maintained and shows no rust.I had the bike gone through by one of the best Honda people here in Los Angeles west side(venice).Minor tune up carb clean etc.(have bill)Had the pipes rechromed,and a new paint job.Its all back together but i have decided not to do any riding in Los Angeles(age related) and thus am selling it.I forgot to mention that the original seat had a small repair done at some point. For its age its in really nice shape and whet i did only added to its additional life.
