I acquired this 1997 CR500 this spring after a two year lay off of riding. Prior to that I was riding a 450 but decided to relive my two stroke open class past with this one. I'm a retiree and needed some medical time off, and I planned on riding geezer class again.

1982 Honda elsinore cr 80 runs and rides great very fast needs nothing bike is in very great original shape its not restored had been in the same family since new well maintained. last year for the air cooled Hondas. tires like new. be hard to find a unrestored ridden bike nicer than this great to get your child into vintage motocross or great for the Honda collector start in 1-2 kicks. will deliver as far as Michigan ohio border for a fee and will ship at buyers expense.

HERE IS A 1975 HONDA CR 125.  WHEN I READ THE ADD IN THE BARGAIN FINDER I THOUGHT I WAS DREAMING  ADD STATED 1985 HONDA ELSINORE 125 ALL ORIGINAL  HAS NOT BEEN RAN IN 35 YEARS     THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT THAT IS WAS A MT OR ENDURO BIKE BUT WHEN I CALLED THE ELDERLY GENTELAM  HE SAID NO IT IS A MX BIKE AND REALLY GOOD SHAPE SO INSTEAD OF BOOKING AN EARLY MORNING APPT. I ASKED HIM IF I COULD COME LOOK AT IT  AT 10 AT NIGHT HE SAID OK  SO I DROVE THE HOUR  AND  THIS GUY HAD THIS BIKE WRAPPED UP IN 4 SLEEPING BAGS AND HE SAID WAS HIS SONS BUT HAS NOT BEEN DRVIN IN THE LAST 35 YEARS  SO I WAS EXCITED TO GET THIS BIKE HOME AND SEE WHAT IT  WOULD DO. WELL IT TOOK A QUICK CARB CLEAN AND I SQUIRTED SOME OIL DOWN THE CYLINDER RINSED OUT THE TANK AND MAKE UP A QUICK BATCH OF KLOTZ AND GAS AND CLEANED AIR FILTER AND 4 KICKS LATER THE ENGINE CAME TO  LIFE.  WELL WHEN I DROVE THIS DOWN THE ROAD YEP IT STILL HAS THE  BUAHHHHH BUAHHHHH BUAHHHH THRU THE GEARS OH YEAH,  BUT HEARING THE PISTON NOISE I  KNEW IT WOULD NEED A FRESH PISTON AND BORE  TO QUIET THE FAST AIR COOLED ENGINE.  ALSO  LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE DID THE FORWARD MOUNTED SHOCKS SETUP AS ALOT OF EARLIER MOTOCROSSERS DID  DO GAIN A FEW MORE INCHES OF TRAVEL.

Selling my pro circuit built race bike (cr125R) The bike is far from stock was taken by pro circuit in 2003 and modded out over $2000 in the motor over $700 in the trees $1000 anodized rims with new bridgestone tires also have a new paddle tire going with it to just to much to list but I do have receipts for all the work done to this bike so you can see what is into it and it fires up first kick and will smoke a 250 no problem. have some goodies to go also bottle of diff jets for racing depending on how u want to run her, top end gasket kit some seal the original owners/competition handbook etc...  The bike is super clean ready to race or ride, runs on high octane with some additive or race fuel just all around a bad ass bike. This is the second year for the cr80 and the last year for the honda elsinor.I started this restore with a nice low hour bike. About  the only thing I did not touch was the frame and transmission on the bike. Here is a list of some of the stuff I replaced or restored on the bike.

This bike was stripped to the bones and redone for riding/racing in vintage events. All new Bearings, all new seals, New piston, connecting rod, rod bearings,complete powder coat on frame and all other painted parts. New Chain, sprockets, grips, bars, levers, cables, rear fender, seat foam, seat cover, number plate.

Your looking at a 1978 Honda cr 250. I purchased the bike to restore it but I have to many other projects. Cleaning out the garage and this one has to go.
