Buell Thunderbolt description

1998 Buell Thunderbolt S3, Nut and bolt restoration completed in 2009. This Low mileage bike was bought knowing it needed some TLC which then turned into a full blown take down. Frame, wheels, triple clamps, rear pulley, bars, shift/brake lever powder coated in Minneapolis at creative powder coating. Original sea foam green paint was taken down to plastic and brought back to life with Subaru pearl black. Body work is amazing done by me and my father who has been in the body business for over 40 years. Front fairing (Cyclops) by Air-Tech Streamline. Motor not touched, all OEM, gauges are originals from original fairing showing actual miles. Some goodies: Full Force race exhaust with race baffle (Jet Hot Ceramic coated 2009) Crossroads crankcase breather Buell carbon race air cleaner (painted to match body) Lyndall Gold brake pads front & rear New clutch cable (original was weeping fluid) New idle and throttle cables (originals were a bit stretched) As with many of these projects listed online, way more was put into this than listing for. My loss is your gain with three Buells this one needs a caretaker who will RIDE IT! No issues, starts and runs great. $4,500.00 5154018804

The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
