Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

Parts Unlimited To Be EBR OEM Parts Distributor

Erik Buell Racing (EBR) announced today that it has selected Parts Unlimited of Janesville, Wis, as its distribution partner for all EBR spare parts for North America. Under the agreement, Parts Unlimited will stock EBR parts and handle order processing and fulfillment for EBR’s dealer network. “We selected Parts Unlimited as our distribution partner because of their highly automated operations, strategically-located warehouses and existing relationships with so many of our dealers. If you haven’t heard, or have seen the new 2010 Buell Blast, you should check it out before viewing the video below. Buell has re-branded itself over the last month or so and have been taking a very close look at themselves.  Not only did they change their logo, but they decided to put to rest a motorcycle that just didn’t fit what they really wanted to be making.  Sport bikes. So the 2010 Buell Blast is a crushed hunk of metal signifying the end of that model.  There will be no Blast in the future so don’t hold your breath!
