I am selling my 2006 Buell Lightning Long XB12ss for $4200.00. please no trades! If your interested in seeing the bike you can email me @ ja_brackney@yahoo.com. Will need a cash in hand and a motorcycle license for a test drive. Does have clean title. This motorcycle is in amazing shape and has a lot of upgrades! look forward to hearing from you. ** Local Pickup Only**
Modifications June 2013:
- LED blinkers.
- Custom bar end down turn mirrors. * One slightly bent on instillation. Does not affect visability
- Baldwin customer seat. * Gives the bike red carbon look rear. See Pics. Cost $450
- New front Tire.
- Rear tire upgraded to 200/45/ZR17
- D and D exhaust.
- K & N Filter.
- Racing plugs.
- Ceramic plug wires.
- Modified (reduced) rear fender.
- Front fender and rear frame section painted to match main frame section (gun metal)
- Reduced license plate holder.
- Integrated LED lights in license plate bolts. * Will need to be rewired after your plate is put on.

Condition issues:
- Small scrape on left plastic part of frame. ** Scratched on garage brick when trying to squeeze in with cars - Easily replaceable. Would have supplied pics but camera can not pick up scratches.
- Split on shift foot lever boot. ** Normal wear. Comes with after market boot.
- Left down facing mirror has slight bend. ** Pushed too hard on instillation.
- Engine light comes on intermittently. ** Due to performance exhaust install without ECM. Does not effect performance so I did not spend the $250. You can leave as is, re-install the factory muffler or purchase and install and the ECM.

Hero MotorCorp Buys Half of Erik Buell Racing
Mon, 01 Jul 2013According to a press release from Hero MotorCorp, the U.S. arm of Hero, HMCL (NA), has agreed to purchase 49.2% of Erik Buell Racing for $25 million. HMCL (NA) is said to have transferred $15 million to EBR with the remaining $10 million to be paid within the next nine months. Hero says it will have two members and one observer sitting on the EBR board of directors but Erik Buell will continue as Chairman and CEO of the company.
AMSOIL Giving Away a 2014 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Synthetic lubricant company AMSOIL has been a sponsor of Erik Buell Racing for a few years now, backing the fellow Wisconsin-based company’s racing efforts since 2011. Now that EBR has started mass production of the 1190RX streetbike, AMSOIL is continuing the partnership by giving one away. A 2014 EBR 1190RX is the grand prize of the AMSOIL Building Legends Sweepstakes, which runs now through Nov.
