Buell Lightning description
This is a 2004 Buell Firebolt converted to a Lightning. The following was replaced from a 2010 Buell Lightning to this bike in the conversion process.Front suspension, dash & body workRear suspension, tail section, kick stand and lighting.A new 2004 lightning wiring harness was installed to replace the Firebolt one.The bike received a few other modifications along the way and was completed withg all oem parts to keep it reliable and to update the suspension for more rider adjustability. This bike needs aboslutely nothing and has been a great bike. If you are looking for a bike that has a really good blend between sport and cruise this is the bike. It has ample power and does great on the highway and has enough tourqe that you dont need to shift all the time while driving spiritedly on the backroads. I've completed a handful of trips and the riding position has been a perfect blend. It's not as loud as you would think and does not drone at any rpm with the Jardine exhaust. Tires and battery were all replaced this year. The basic mods are as follows:Open Airbox w/ K&N FilterRace ECMJardine GP1 exhaustHID Hi-Beam headlampLED turn signalsBar end mirrors The title is clean and clear like the bike. It has never been wrecked or dropped since I've owned it. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Currently the bike has about 23k miles which can deter a lot of folks. Keep in mind that these engines require almost no maintenance outside of fluids and outside of a few leaks they get every once and a while they are very strong and reliable road going vessels. Many of the miles on the machine are highway. Please email or call if interested. Cash is king, no trades, I am thinning out my heard and this is 1 of a few bikes I am selling. Please call or email with any questions or to set up a viewing. No texts please., no calls after 9pm please.
